Unique visual scenic perspectives of Cushing.

Lawreston/Distinctive Views: Photos from Land, Sea, and Air is a production by Lawreston Crute. Though Mr. Crute is not a resident of Cushing, his family has been tied to Cushing since the middle 1800s. One can take the boy out of Cushing, but taking Cushing out of the boy is another matter. Lawreston has compiled extensive aerial perspectives of the home town, in addition to a wide variety of ground-bound images. The boat has yet to navigate to Pleasant Point and up the St. George River, but it’s planned. The book, “Cushing, Maine: Memories of a Native; Views of a Soaring Seagull” is in process.
